We make every bangle to your wrist size, in yellow, white or rose gold, with an engraving inside if you wish.

What is a bangle bracelet?

A bangle is a closed or slightly open rigid bracelet that does not bend or hang, but holds its line on the wrist. At BELLER we make it from solid 585 (14K) or 750 (18K) gold, with no fillings and no hollow profiles, which is why it has a weight you can truly feel: from about 4 g in the slender Raw N°2 to over 20 g in the men's Angle N°4. It is jewelry that needs no clasp, so nothing in it can break.

Gold bangle: 585 or 750?

Both are solid gold; what differs is the share of pure gold: 58.5% in 585 and 75% in 750. 585 gold is harder, so a bangle worn every day picks up fewer marks; 750 has a deeper, warmer color. We make every design in this collection in both purities and in three gold colors: yellow, white and rose. Prices start at 3 850 PLN, and a gold bangle with D/VVS1 diamonds from 9 450 PLN.

Stones on a rigid bracelet

A rigid form gives stones a stable setting, which is why we most readily set diamonds and sapphires on bangles: five or sixteen stones in a line on On the edge, sixteen diamonds on Promise, 64 diamonds totalling 0.81 ct on Bridal, fourteen colored gems on Witraż Krakowski. Diamonds are D color and VVS1 clarity, colored stones AAA grade; all confirmed by the BELLER certificate of authenticity. More designs in the diamond bracelets collection.

How to choose the size of a bangle

A bangle cannot be loosened like a chain, so the wrist size matters. We make every bracelet to measure, in sizes from 13 to 18.5 cm in half-centimetre steps; open designs are put on from the underside of the wrist, closed ones over the hand. If you do not know your size, measure it with our guide or visit the atelier: we will measure and show how different widths sit on the hand.

A rigid bracelet is worth trying on before buying: a 2 mm Raw sits differently from a 7 mm Angle. What is the difference between a rigid bracelet and a bangle?

None: bangle is simply the English name for a rigid bracelet that holds its form. Every BELLER bangle is made of solid 585 or 750 gold, hand-formed and hardened, so it keeps its shape for years, and its edges are smoothed so they do not catch on a sleeve.

Can a bangle be taken off and put on without a clasp?

Yes. Open designs such as On the edge, Raw or Angle are put on from the underside of the wrist, at its narrowest point, and gently rotated; closed ones like Bridal have a discreet hinged clasp. A bangle therefore needs no lobster clasp, the most common failure point of ordinary bracelets. With a well-fitted size it neither slips off nor pinches.

Which bangle size should I choose?

Measure your wrist at its narrowest point and add about 1 cm of ease; we make sizes from 13 to 18.5 cm. If in doubt, measure with our guide or try the designs on at our Warsaw boutique or Kraków boutique. A free resize within a reasonable range is part of our jewelry service.

How much does a gold bangle bracelet cost?

Plain designs start at 3 850 PLN (Raw N°2, 585 gold), men's Angle from 12 550 PLN, and bangles with D/VVS1 diamonds from 9 450 PLN up to 24 950 PLN for Bridal with 64 diamonds. The price depends on the weight of gold, purity and stones; made-to-size and engraving are included. Instalments are available.

Does a gold bangle come with a certificate, and how long does it take?

Every bracelet comes with a BELLER certificate of authenticity stating the gold purity, and diamonds above 0.3 ct additionally with a GIA certificate. A made-to-size bangle usually takes 2-3 weeks; we understand last-minute purchases and do our best to speed things up when time is short. Collect it at the atelier or we ship it free of charge to your address.
